Komatsuna, also known as Japanese Mustard Spinach, is a popular vegetable in Japan. Komatsuna offers a delicate sweet flavour and slightly mustardy taste.

 

Komatsuna is commonly used in Japanese cuisine, typically blanched lightly, stir-fried, boiled or used in soups and salads. 

Care And Harvesting Tips:

For baby leaf production, Leaves can be harvested from 8cm high. For mature plant harvest, Plants can be harvested whole or individual leaves taken as required and used rather like cabbage. 

 

To harvest the whole head, harvest from the base at week 5.
