what do you get with grobrix for home?
Delivery & Assembly
A brand new Grobrix farm wall will be delivered and installed at your home. That’s right! We’ll do it for you.
Installation includes on site introductory training with a Grobrix urban farmer, to get you off to the best possible start.
Seedlings & Nutrients
Seedlings and nutrients are included in your membership. Choose from our range of 50 different seedlings, lovingly raised by our urban farming experts. Seedlings are delivered at 3 weeks old to ensure growing success.
You can collect from our nursery in Science Park, or have them couriered directly to your home ($15 delivery charge applies).
Farming support
We provide a follow-up video call before your first farm wall restock, and you’ll have a dedicated WhatsApp channel with our farmers for ongoing questions and support.
Every 6 months we’ll even do the dirty work for you and give your system a deep clean and service.

How big is the Grobrix Farm Wall?
A single Grobrix unit is W65 x H200 x D45 (cm).
Grobrix requires minimal footprint and should be placed indoors against an empty wall of W65 x H200 (cm) with two wall outlets and good airflow or ventilation.
can I put the Grobrix Farm Wall outdoors?
Grobrix is designed to work best indoors, and we encourage putting Grobrix only in an indoor setting.
(1) Singapore is warm and tends to get really hot on sunny days. The plants are not designed to endure such heat so growing outdoors may not produce optimal results.
(2) The Grobrix Farm Wall must be fully sheltered from rain and strong wind, and the mechanical timers and power source must be protected from water.
can I buy the Grobrix Farm Wall?
The Grobrix Farm Wall is rented to customers as part of the membership and is not for sale.
At Grobrix, we want to be part of the circular economy. If the time comes that you no longer wish to grow with us, we repurpose the wall to a location such as a school or community centre. If we can’t find a home for it, we will ensure the parts are recycled.
is drilling required during the installation?
what is the energy consumption like?
A single Grobrix unit consumes around 100W of power while the energy-efficient LED lights are on. With the lights on for 12 hours per day, this comes out to about 40 KwH of energy per month.
At current home energy prices, this would typically run less than 10 SGD per month.
do I have to purchase and grow the seeds myself?
No need! With Grobrix, we do the hard work, and you get the fun! We have a team of urban farmers who lovingly grow and germinate the seeds in our nursery before delivering them to you, so you can have confidence your crops will grow to maturity and yield a healthy, delicious, and bountiful harvest.
With Grobrix, no green thumb or growing experience is needed. All you need is a beginner’s mindset.
What type of fruits and vegetables can I grow at home with Grobrix?
Grobrix offers around 50 varieties of non-GMO, pesticide-free fruits and vegetables, such as lettuces, mint, chye sim, chilli padi, kale, and much more.
The seeds are germinated in our local nursery until they are fully sprouted before delivering them to you – this way, you get a 3-week head start and can start harvesting in as little as 2 weeks for some varieties.

What are the prerequisites to having a Grobrix in my home?
The main requirement to having Grobrix in your home is that you have a keen interest in growing, value nutrition over yield, and have a beginner’s mindset.
Grobrix requires little space, an empty wall that is not blocking the main walkways with good airflow/ventilation indoors is all we need!
However, as effortless as hydroponic farming might sound, there still needs to be some work put in to make magic happen – you should be willing and able to maintain the farm wall by checking water levels about once a week, refilling and topping up nutrients where required, and learning to prune your crops as needed.
After all, plants are living things, and just like humans, the better the environment and the better it is cared for, the better they thrive.

The initial fee covers delivery, installation, and joining fees, which are not refundable
How long does the installation take?
As little as 45 minutes, but please allow an hour to ensure we have time to answer as many questions as possible!

- Bi-annual service with component cycling and deep clean
- Option for seedling delivery to your home ($15 courier charge applies)
- For happy plants, Grobrix requires a well-ventilated, indoor space. Air conditioning welcomed but not required.
- Grobrix requires access to mains power - one standard 13-amp plug socket per unit. It must be plugged in and turned on at all times.
- Estimated electricity consumption cost - 9 SGD/month
- Grobrix does not require access to mains water.
- Water usage depends upon crops grown, estimated between 10-20L per month
- The farm wall needs to be placed against a wall or window. Unit dimensions - 200cm height x 65cm width x 45cm depth
- Our farmers will anchor your farm to your wall with adhesive tape
