Growing your food prevents nutrition loss during the transportation of food.

Home-grown fruits and vegetables are fresher, higher in nutrients, and taste better than those transported over long distances.

If your produce comes through traditional farming methods, you and your family are likely consuming pesticides, insecticides and herbicides. These are bad. You can drastically reduce this intake.

Growing your food with Grobrix also saves you money and gives you access to a variety of plants not commonly available in stores.


Studies have shown that gardening can help reduce stress, improve concentration and productivity, and boost your mood. Hence, we designed Grobrix as a piece of furniture, a wall feature to fit any space and showcase the ease of growing vegetables efficiently at home, workplaces, schools, or any F&B outlets.

It’s a talking point at any party, a place to gather and mingle.

By the way, you can eat from it too.


Single-use plastics are used to transport produce around the world on this ‘farm-to-table’ journey. These plastics will likely end up in a landfill or, even worse, in the ocean.

Agricultural runoff is responsible for more ecosystem disruption than any other form of pollution.

It is estimated that produce in the United States travels approximately 1,500 miles from farm to plate. These ‘food miles’ are a large part of your meal’s carbon footprint.

Estimates show that 50% of all produce grown is wasted. When was the last time you threw out a bag of salad? With Grobrix, harvest just what you need, when you need.


Take Singapore, for example; we currently produce just 10% of the population’s food needs. Having to rely on 90% of our nutritional needs from abroad is a real national threat. Securing food sustainability through a changing focus of farming from rural areas to cities is the way forward to producing 30% of our own food by 2030, reaching our ’30 by 30′ goals.

The plan calls for everyone in the city to grow what they can and where they can through innovative solutions and technologies.

Population migration towards cities has detached society’s relationship with food and where it comes from. We want to reconnect this! Educate and inspire future generations for a more sustainable tomorrow.
