Arugula, also known as rocket or roquette, is known for its spicy, nutty, and slightly bitter flavour. It is best eaten raw.
Arugula is a popular ingredient for salads, sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas. It can also be served as a salad topped with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
Arugula does best with a single harvest as the larger the leaves get, the more bitter the taste gets. Harvest from base at week 2.
To reduce heat stress and prevent bolting, take note on surrounding temperature.
