Red Vein Sorrel is a perennial crop known for its red-veined leaves. Red Vein Sorrel offers a distinct, bright, sour flavour and tangy notes similar to lemon or sour apple.
Red Vein Sorrel is suitable as a garnish – adding extra taste and colour to salads, sandwiches, soups, eggs, fish and seafood dishes.
Cut and come again! Partially harvest Red Vein Sorrel by cutting the outer, bigger leaves, leaving the inner leaves to continue growing.
