Grand Rapid Lettuce has a sweet and crisp taste. It is better eaten raw.
Have it with cooked meat as a salad on the side, shredded to put in tacos, or used as edible plate liners.
Care and Harvesting Tips:
Baby Leaves – Start snipping from the outer leaves when they reach 10-12 cm in length, leaving 3 cm from the base and avoiding the crown. Also avoid cutting more than a third of the plant to ensure continuous growth.
Whole head – Remove the whole lettuce from the net pot.
Can be kept up to 1 week with the root ball intact, and proper storage in the fridge.
