This is Grobrix, the world’s first modular edible green wall. It was designed in Singapore, developed in Singapore and still to today, we make it right here in Singapore. It is now patented in all of North America, Western Europe and select countries in Asia.

Grobrix was designed to blend furniture with farming to brighten indoor urban spaces and bring experiential edible gardens closer to communities. From corporates for employee engagement, wellness and sustainability, to hotels and restaurants for the full farm-to table-experience, Grobrix brings the farm and the farmers market to you.

Grobrix farms are fully supported from the ground by our team of farmers and are now monitored and controlled from the cloud in partnership with Amazon leveraging AWS technology. Our dedicated urban farming team are there to provide comprehensive support, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of your farming setup.

All a Grobrix urban farm requires is access to normal mains power and our minimum installation only consumes 140KwH of electricity per month given the use of energy efficient LED tubes. It runs on a closed loop irrigation system so we do not need access to mains water.

Simply against a Wall or other Vertical Surface

This is the simplest and most cost effective option. All we require is an empty wall, a window frame or a room dividing feature with structural integrity. We will anchor to this surface using adhesive strips only or cable ties where possible ensuring that the space is ready for you again in the future if and when you choose to use it for something else. The installations can go up in less than two hours and then  loaded with seedlings to pave the way for a first harvest session just three weeks later. Here are a few examples.

Built In

Working in close collaboration with designers such as M Moser or Gensler, Grobrix urban farms can be beautifully embedded into any new office or hospitality renovation project. The team at Grobrix will liaise directly with the designers and can provide the 3D frameworks to be dropped directly into your interior designers models for their mockups. When it comes to the installation, we’ll liaise directly with the contractors to ensure all wiring and controls are hidden from view so Grobrix looks it’s best whilst at the same time remaining accessible and functional for all to enjoy.
